Our Staff
Support services for individuals living with symptoms of brain injury & mental health conditions

Kasi is an experienced professional who ensures the smooth operation of Adapta while overseeing staff and resident wellness. Her extensive experience as a Medical Social Worker and Mental Health Practitioner is a testament to her unwavering focus on overall health and wellness.   Kasi is a Licensed Assisted Living Director and is licensed by the MN Board of Social Work. She has received a Certificate in Aging and Disabilities from the MN Board on Aging through the Boston University Center for Aging and Disability Education and Research.  She is also a certified Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trainer through the Residential Child Care Project, Cornell University, demonstrating her commitment to professional development and excellence.

Kasi’s mission is to provide high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with Brain Injuries, Mental Health Conditions, and Substance Use Disorders. She enjoys learning about each resident’s journey and strongly advocates for resident rights. Watching residents on their path to independence is a motivating and rewarding experience for her.

Since assuming the role of Executive Director in 2015, Kasi has spearheaded significant transformations at Adapta. She relicensed the original program from a Board and Lodge with Special Services to an Assisted Living Facility, with services available for individuals 18 years and older.  Under her guidance, Adapta has expanded, adding two Community Resident Services (CRS) foster homes, one specializing in Mentally Ill and Dangerous (MI/D) individuals.  Even in the face of the pandemic, Adapta continued to grow, adding one more Assisted Living Facility to its list of services.

Kasi lives in Rochester with her husband and three children (3 dogs and two bunnies). Her active family spends much of their free time at extra-curricular activities and sporting events.
