Kasi Haglund is the Executive Director for Adapta.  She ensures the smooth operation of the Adapta facility while overseeing staff and resident wellness.  Kasi’s experience as a Medical Social Worker and Mental Health Practitioner has helped bring a renewed focus to overall health and wellness.   Kasi is licensed by the MN Board of Social Work and has also received a Certificate in Aging and Disabilities from the MN Board on Aging through Boston University Center for Aging and Disability Education and Research.  Kasi is also a certified Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trainer through the Residential Child Care Project, Cornell University.

Kasi’s mission is to provide high quality, person-centered care for individuals with Brain Injuries, Mental Health Conditions and Substance Use Disorders.  Kasi enjoys getting to know each residents’ journey and is a strong advocate of Resident’s Rights. Watching residents on their path to independence is a very motivating and rewarding experience for her.

Kasi lives in Rochester with her husband and three children.  Her active family enjoys boating and camping in the summer months.  During the school year, Kasi is usually found at one of her children’s extra-curricular activities!
